Leo Dailey Productions is a new offshoot of Desert Journal Online to highlight the creative side of Leo Dailey, pseudonym for William L. "Bill" Johnson, editor and publisher of Desert Journal Online - http://www.desertjournalonline.com/ - established in May 2001 as a complimentary operation of the Desert Journal, a weekly newspaper that operated in Truth or Consequencers, NM, from September 1995 to May 2003. Desert Journal Online has been operating out of the home of Leo Dailey (a/k/a Bill Johnson) in Albuquerque, NM, since March 2004. Desert Journal Online won two best website awards from the New Mexico Press Association's Better Newspaper Contests in 2002 and 2003 and the newspaper won an additional 32 awards for excellence in journalism, including two public service awards, from 1997 to 2003.
